What should have been...

As we come down to the BB7 finale tomorrow night, the final two is set with Mike Boogie and Erika taking the honors. As I write that, I cringe. There's no possible way that either of those two should be taking home the winner's money - Boogie sat in his buddy Will's shadow and snuck into the finals by winning a few key competitions; Erika floated her way to the end.

This is the way the show should've played out:

1) Janelle - there's no question that Janelle was the best player this season and she should be taking home the money. Yes, she made a few mistakes by trusting Will too much but she also won a record nine competition and was the one that finally had enough guts to send the Doctor home.

2) Will - the evil Doctor was at it again. He didn't win a single competition (mostly strategy) and still made it to the final four. He had everyone believing all of his lies and it almost worked again. After this season's performance, he can still rightfully claim the "best player in BB history" title.

Hmm...well, I thought I was going to be able to rank all fourteen players but then I realized that this season was a game of two and it's a shame that neither of them are in the final two. But how often does what should happen actually happen? In life, not very often...so we have to deal with what we're handed and this is what we have: a Boogie-Erika BB7 final.

The jury:

Danielle - which Danielle will be voting? The one that told Erika she wouldn't vote for her in the end if she put her on the block or the Danielle that said she'd vote for the best player when she left the house (opening a small chance that she might give Erika her vote)? Remember, Danielle was pretty pissed that her "friend" (Erika) put her on the block...but also remember that Danielle was in an alliance with Will & Boogie and they were ultimately the ones that sent her (and her bud, James) packing. (Prediction: Erika)

George - I have no clue how the Chicken Man will vote. At different times in the game, he was in a (fake) alliance with both Boogie and Erika. (Prediction: Boogie)

Howie - this is one of the two sure votes. He's voting for Erika to win because him and Boogie were at near blows when Howie evicted. (Prediction: Erika)

James - sure, he was in an alliance with Chill Town and they sent him home but in his eviction interview with Julie, he said that he was beaten by the best (Will, Janelle and Boogie). He knows the game well enough to realize that Erika is a floater and doesn't deserve to win. (Prediction: Boogie)

Janelle - even though Janey should've won and she knows it, she still needs to vote for someone else to win. In what might look like a tough decision, I don't think it will be. (Prediction: Erika)

Marcellas - another "dunno" vote. Chill Town did throw the POV competition that led to Danielle saving herself and Marcellas being put up and sent to sequester, but you still never know with Marcellas, who has always been emotional and unpredictable. (Prediction: Boogie)

Will - hmm, rack one up for the bromance. (Prediction: Boogie)

By a vote of 4-3, Mike... you have won Big Brother Seven.

Janelle still gets my vote though.

Tonight is double eviction night. Should be interesting. I just hope Will or Boogie don't get the boot because of this.

- I was almost shocked by the way James took his eviction: with class. He was dead-on when he said that he was beat by the best (Will, Janelle and to a lesser extent Mike Boogie).

- They should just set the final three of Will, Janelle and Boogie right now. That's not the way that it's going to end up but they are the three best players so lets have it. Chicken George, Danielle and Erika don't have any business being in the finals.

I started this with the intentions of having something to write but I forget what I was going to write. Remember it's double eviction this week, should be interesting.

Yes, Finaly chill town is in control. Well HOH wise anyway, Will has been pretty much in control from the start. With Mike in power and Will running the show anything can happen. Should be a good show tonight.

I'll start of by saying that I know I'm writing this after the actual show aired. I was at work and missed it so I'm about to watch the re-run and figured that I should keep with my trend of making predictions.

I do want to say one thing before that though: Janelle is one of my favorite players in Big Brother history (probably 1-2 with Will) but what the hell was she doing nominating Marcellas instead of James? Especially after he threw the Veto competition so that Danielle (Janelle's number one enemy) could win it and take herself off the block? Janelle, it was the perfect time to let James know that you're not going to put up with his bullshit and put him up (and there's a good chance that he would've been sent home because I still believe that, despite the Legion of Doom alliance of James, Danielle, Will & Booggie that Chill Town would've voted against James, knowing that he's playing everyone but is still a strong player).

*Eviction nomination: Marcellas is sent packing.

HOH competition: Will finally shows up and wins something.

*that is if the Coup d'Etat isn't revealed and used. In that case, I have no idea.

It's starting to look like this blog is just going to be me writing on Thursday afternoons, but it's not like anyone's reading it anyway...so I'll just put my predictions and leave it at that.

Eviction: although the odds are stacked against Kaysar because James is just supposed to be a decoy, I still can see James being voted out. The one thing that will help him though is the pass he won at the HOH competition where he can veto someone's vote. Hmm, I'll go against the odds and say that Will & Boggie mix things up and vote out James.

HOH: Might as well go with Janelle again.

Welcome back Snipes.

Again, I don't have a whole lot to say but I will say this: now that it seems as if James has turned his back on the BB6 alliance, it's down to three (Janelle, Kaysar and Howie) along with Janelle's new "buddies", Chill Town (Will and Boogie). All I really want to say is that if Kaysar and Howie turn their backs too, they're crazy because they still have the power. James is a strong player but he's not THAT strong and he'll be siding with the "floaters" who haven't won anything and really haven't shown any competition. It would've been smarter for James to stick with his team and then once they reached the final six, try to figure something out.

Eviction prediction: don't know the votes, but see you Diane.

HoH prediction: Kaysar.

Yes I'm still here. Well this week so far on big brother has been interesting. First, we have Boogie and Erika go on the block, then Boogie wins veto and of takes himself off the block (of course), then Janelle puts Diane up in his place... Now, of course, James wanted Will put up and is pissed off with his alliance...well now former alliance I guess. Will has something over Janelle I think, he's worked himself and Mike Boogie into an alliance that I really didn't think would happen. He is truely the best player to play the game and in a way James is right that he shouldn't be trusted. But I'm glad Will is playing hard and keeping chilltown in the house week after week. As for the eviction tomorrow, I don't realy care who goes, but James has ties to Diane so she should go. Anyway that's it from me for now.

So I haven't written anything in a week. A lot has happened in the BB house since then but I don't really feel like writing about it. I know, I'm not taking my job here at the blog very seriously but 1) I'm not getting paid so I don't care and 2) I've written more than Snipes. I wonder if he's still alive.

Dr. Will and Jase are up for eviction. Will basically told everyone to send him home because he hates them all but knowing Will and how he plays the game, that will probably secure him his safety. Jase has been playing each of the sides against each other and James - the HOH - tired of it, so he targetted him. Hmm...so, as much as Will wants to go home, I think he'll stay and Jase will be evicted.

HOH prediction: I'm not really sure what to think here - BB6 has been owning the competitions so that makes me think that maybe they might continue that and win again, but it also makes me think that maybe their time has come and it's time for someone else to win and create a little havoc. If someone from BB6 wins, it'll be Janelle. If it's someone else, I say it'll be whoever is saved: Will or Jase.

I was wrong last week, so trying to bring my record back to .500, I'm going to say that Nakomis will be sent home tonight. Why? Because they think of her as a better player than Diane... which will probably result in Diane being sent home because the houseguests seemed to have lost their minds this season.

I have to say the way Will is playing this game, it seems he never left the big brother house at all. He hasn't seemed to miss a step from his game play in good old BB2. He set a trap and Kaysar bought it - hook, line and sinker. Whether it pays off remains to be seen, but if Mike or Will win HOH tomorrow night, there is almost a 100% chance that Kaysar will be nominated for eviction, and depending how things go... could be sent packing next week.

- So I was off on my prediction of who was going to be sent home on the first live show. Since Danielle is a better player than Alison, I figured that they would take the opportunity to rid themselves of her...but no. They decided to vote out the annoying one. I don't really understand why they keep calling Alison "one of the most ruthless players in Big Brother history." She never did anything out of the ordinary. Oh well.

- Kaysar won HoH; Janelle and Howie went nuts. Some of the other houseguests questioned Janelle and Howie, but why? It's no secret that they're an alliance...but if they keep winning the competitions, how's anyone going to stop them? I know that it's only early, but they have a four-person alliance (assuming James sticks with his BB6 peeps) and no other alliance in the house has more than two.

- Loved Will's "I'm probably lying" shirt. Pure genious.

- Food competition: That slop stuff is nasty. I know that I wouldn't be able to put up with eating that for too long, I'm not really sure how the houseguests are going to do it. I guess this will show what kind of player each person is.

- Nomination ceremony: So no one was really sure who Kaysar was going to nominate, but people thought he'd probably go for Will and Mike Boogie, since they are gunning for him. So of course, they pull the keys one-by-one and Kaysar nominated... Diane and Nakomis? What? Sure, they're decent players but they're not going to win the game...so unless Kaysar has a grander plan, this was kind of dumb.

- Will: It's so funny watching the doctor play this game again - he knows it so well. He knows that he's the best player, he acts like he's the best player and he basically tells everyone to nominate him & eliminate him because he's their biggest threat... and they don't listen. It started this way in BB2 and he won, I don't see it being any different this time.

Thank god Alison is gone, I couldn' stand her in season 4 and was hopeing she'd be the first evicted off all-stars. On the other hand I was not happy with Kaysar winning HOH. I know he'll probbly be gunning for Will. Sorry tis is short but it's really all I have to say. New episode tonight, can't wait!

So the first eviction is tonight, and either Danielle or Alison will be saying goodbye. I don't really care which one is sent packing because neither are on the list of people that I like, which means either would be fine by me. From a game standpoint, I'd want to evict Danielle. Sure, Alison is annoying but she isn't that much of a threat. Danielle is a threat - she can play the game, she can manipulate people (she's been doing it since she got in the house) and she can sucker people into doing her dirty work for her while she hides in the shadows.

With a vote of 7-3...Danielle...you have been evicted from the Big Brother house. Now we just need Julien Chen to make it official.

Opening thoughts.

Now that the show has finally begun, it's time for another post: Eventually I'll (probably) have a set way of writing things, but for now it's just a few random thoughts on the first episode.

- The people that went into the house weren't too much of a surprise. All of the best players (Will, Janelle, Kaysar, James, Danelle) made it into the house and then some others, for different reasons, were added to the mix. It'll definitely be/get interesting.

- Cowboy seemed to look the most confused when he wasn't selected, which makes me ask: why? He brought nothing to his season of BB, why would this be any different? He's not a good player, he's not funny...he's not even remotely attractive. Good job keeping him out.

- Everyone seems to be gunning for the members of BB6 (Kaysar, Janelle, James and Howie) but I'm not really sure why some of the other power in the house (namely Will and Mike Boogie) don't try to align with them rather than feud against them. Wouldn't it make more sense to have as much power on your side as possible? But then again, who am I to question Will, the only winner of a previous season in the house? Exactly.

- The Head of Household twist was kind of cool, with Janelle and Jase taking the honors...but if anyone thought they'd actually agree to disagree and both go on the block, you're crazy...which clearly makes Danielle and Alison (this week's nominees) crazy because they seemed to think that that would be the way to go for the HoHs. Idiots.

- Highlight of the show: Will losing it because Janelle and Jase DIDN'T nominate him. He's so cocky, it's hilarious. Definitely the best player in the game and he probably made lots of sense when he said that they should've nominated him - the longer he makes it in the show, the tougher he'll become.

Well, big brother all-stars is on the way. I was very surprised to see "Chicken" George get picked for all stars. He is really out of place in a house full of young people. I was also very surprised Marcellas was not voted in to the house rather than being picked by the producers. The only person that I'm not happy with being there is Alison, I don't think she is worthy of being called an all-star. Overall I am very happy with the all-star cast. Will is the man and even know he's the only winner in the house he could own this season if he plays his cards right.

I can't wait for things to heat up, It's going to be an awesome season.

Here is my list of 12 for Big Brother All-Stars.

Danielle: Not one of my favorites but she was a strong player and if this is a season for All-stars, she deserves to be there.

Diane: I think she deserves a chance to prove herself. She says she would've won if she wasn't distracted by Drew, but I don't think so. I believe she still would've lost if she had gone to the final two, but on the other hand, she gives the guys something to look at.

Erika: Lets be honest, she got jipped in her season. I think should've won hands down. Oh, she’s also nice to look at.

Howie: Oh my, where to start? He's crazy and has some good gameplay skills. He'll bring energy to the house.

James: A master of the game and the Veto king. If things weren’t so messed up last season, he would have had the game.

Janelle: Did somebody say bitch? Definitely not one of my favorites. With the exception of having Michael in the house with her, she was my least favorite from last season...BUT that doesn’t mean I didn’t think she was a good player. Put her in the house, if she keeps up that immature attitude she had, I don’t think she’ll last long. Or maybe she will? People might think they can beat her.

Jase: This guy is a loose canon, you never know what he’s going to do. He will bring fun and excitement to the house and he’s fun to watch. Howie and him under the same roof would be amazing.

Kaysar: This guy was not a favorite of mine. However his gameplay was strong and yes, he should be in all-stars.

Lisa: Okay, I’ll be honest I just picked her to fill a spot.

Mike “BOOGIE”: This guy is the man, he was the first ever Head of Household in Big Brother history. Isn’t that reason enough.

Nokomis: I have to say when she first entered the Big Brother house I thought, what in the hell. But as the game went on her gameplay proved strong. The only thing I didn’t like was that she hatched the plan to get Jase evicted. I think she should get another shot.

Will: The evil doctor is back…Well he better be anyway. This guy played the game like no other and won. Just when you thought he was done, he survived another eviction. It wouldn’t be an all-stars without him.

WILD CARDS:

Yes, I have wild cards... why? Because I couldn’t decide on just 12.

Michael “Cowboy”: Okay, okay, this guy didn’t have many fans but I was one. I really want to see him be back in the game. Hey, if nothing else, it will give you haters another chance to hate him.

Marcellas: come on, who doesn’t like this guy? My brother apparently. I know what you're all thinking... why is he not in the first 12? Well he just didn’t make the cut but his popularity will probably get him in. If so he better use the damn veto on himself if he gets the chance.

Well there you have it. Bring on Big Brother All-Stars.

You'll probably notice that the majority of my picks are the "cool" picks. These people didn't necessarily play the best games at all times but they are the people that, for the most part, brought the most to the house. An All-Star game isn't an All-Star game without the best players and biggest personalities. Sure, the people that I didn't pick would bring something to the table but the others are just better picks in my opinion. Before I get to my picks though, I will admit that I haven't done much thinking about the show in the last little while, so my reason for why these people should be selected for BB7 are probably kind of weak.

MY 12:

Alison: she played with the boys' hearts in season 4 and that took her to a second place finish. Um, yeah, I'm not really sure where I was going with that point, but it would be cool to see her make it to the house for the simple fact that everyone would hate her. And she's kinda cute.

Danielle: probably the only player that I picked that I didn't actually like at any point in the show. However, she did play a good game and it'd be fun to see her go against other top game-players head-to-head.

Diane: she can be a bitch which is always a bonus, plus, how will she play the game without her bf Drew?

Erika: don't even know what to say. Hmm, she's easier to look at then the 8 I left off my list?

Howie: not a great player but very entertaining. I'll take it.

James: great player. Would probably be one of the first three targetted but he has to be on the show.

Janelle: one of my all-time favorites, not only because she's attractive but because she's smart - she fooled everyone by playing the attractive bimbo. Everyone thought that she was dumb because she was blonde and good looking. She played one of the better games but her mouth often got her in trouble. (Did I mention she's hot?)

Jase: he entertains us but annoys the other houseguests, even his buddies couldn't stand him at times. It'd be fun to see how these new players would be able to adjust to his antics and whether they'd send him home early or not.

Kaysar: (WHAT UP KAYSAR?) Another one of my all-time favorites, Kaysar played a smart game at times but it sometimes got to his head and led to him being evicted not once but twice in season 6. He was given a second chance, why not a third?

Lisa: apparently she's ready to play, but she's a previous winner...so that'll turn out good. *rolls eyes* Oh well, she's hot. LOL

Mike "Boogie": the leader of Chill Town, he was outshined by his buddy Will in the end and he wants to prove that he's more than just a cool guy.

Will: the best player in the history of BB. There is no possible way that there can be an All-Stars edition without the Evil Doctor. He took being honest to a different level by telling everyone that he was going to lie to them, then making them think that he was being honest when of course he was lying to them. The question isn't whether he'll make the show or not, but how long will he last, since everyone will be gunning for him.
